Besides a book, documentary, and exhibition, the Born Free – Mandela’s Generation of Hope project resulted in an interactive long read where photography, video, and historical imagery narrate the story of the generation growing up in South Africa after 1994. The long read was nominated for a Webby Award (Best Individual Editorial Feature 2020 category), the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet.
